The event, organized as part of the LIFE PLUTO project, to promote the updating and the operational homogeneity of the Anti-Poison Dog Units of the Forest, Environment and Agri-food Command Unit of the Carabinieri, involved the drivers of the six UCAs activated with the LIFE PLUTO project and the ones within WolfAlps, Medwolf and Micro-lupo projects. The main topics covered during the event included the analysis of the inspection activity carried out in 2019, the procedures adopted by judicial police, the presentation of a new electronic database for recording the main data connected to inspections, the UCA organizational aspects, the dog training techniques, and the first aid techniques for dogs.
